Barangay Ginebra San Miguel take control the game defeating Rain or Shine 75-72 in their game 3 of the best 5 semi-final series.

Barangay Ginebra takes control of the game since the opening period and lead 24-10 in the first 12 minutes of play. The lead balloon to 25 points in the second period before closing in 46-23 at the half.
Rain or Shine could not matchup the Barangay as the lead steadily in double digits in the second half until Elastopainters went 16-3 run in the fourth quarter to cut the lead into a single digit with 64-57 and edge with 74-72 in the dying minute, they had a chance to force and over time after La Tenorio split his free throws 75-72 with 6 seconds left but James Yap could not hit the long trey in the next position.
Ginebra relying with their import lead by Justin Brownlee, who finished with 44 points and 15 rebounds, including 6 assists with only La Tenorio, who finished in a double digit 13 points and 4 rebounds with 3 assists.
Despite his low production Reggie Johnson led Rain or Shine with 13 points, including 22 rebounds and 4 assist. Raymond Almazan and Ed Daquioag also in double digit with 12 points and 11 points respectively.
Now Barangay Ginebra is now leading the series with 2-1 advantage against the Rain or Shine.
