First meet-up of the Finalist last season in the Eastern Conference between the Cavaliers and Raptors.

Cavaliers, who controlled the game, since the opening quarter and had highest lead in the game with (50-38) late in the second quarter with 49.5 seconds left.
Toronto Raptors again behind by 11pts (57-46) early in the third quarter. But Raptors managed to end the third period with just 4pts deficit (67-71).
The score is nearly tied again with 4:45 minutes to play (85-84) but Lebron James split his free throws on the next position after getting fouled (86-84). The game was first tied when Kyle Lowry hit a pair of free throws (86-86) under 3:42 minutes, but Lebron James finds Tristan Thompson that leads to Alley Oop Dunk in the next position (88-86). Derozan easily tied the game with 88 apiece with just 3:07 remaining.

The Raptors had their first lead (89-88) after Kyle Lowry split his free throws with 2:34 minutes to play. The game had their third deadlock (89-89) after James split his free throws with 2:27 remaining. Exchange basket on the next position made their 4th deadlock of the game with 91 a piece. With most of the Raptors players focus King James, the defense collapse on him when he drive, but James find an open team mate Kyrie Erving to hit a clutch 3 pointer (94-91) with 44.3 seconds left.
Erving finished with 26pts and 6 assist. Lebron James, who had his first triple-double in season opener added with 21pts and 8 rebounds. While Raptors lead by Demar Derozan 32pts who also scored 40pts in season opener against Detroit Pistons.
