Manila, Philippines – Carmelo Anthony moved 25th place in scoring leader of all time on February 12, 2017 (Eastern Time) when his New York Knicks defeated the visiting San Antonio Spurs (94-90) at Madison Square Garden, New York.
Carmelo Anthony lifted the New York Knicks and finished with 25pts including 3 of 5 coming from beyond the arc.
Anthony, who only needs 8pts to surpass Charles Barkley, who also had a career point of 23,757pts. Landing in the 25th place scoring leader of all time is not easy for the New York star, as he need to do it in the third quarter of the game.
His triple basket with 8:57 minutes remaining in the third quarter put him in the 25th place all time scoring leaders of all time.
As of this writing Carmelo Anthony already had 23,775 career points currently playing in New York Knicks uniform, he also part of the Denver Nuggets roaster for 8 years where the star drafted (2003-2011).
Anthony, who played from 2011 to present in New York Knicks looks to find another home when the final trade of this 2016-2017 season after the All Star in New Orleans.
