It’s a tough night for the Aces as they need to win 3 consecutive in order to be in the finals, but San Miguel proved to be the best team in the Philippine Basketball right now. Unlike game 3 most of the time the Aces take control the load, it’s a different scenario in game 4 in which both teams exchange their lead with no team leading in double digit throughout the first three quarters until San Miguel find a comfortable lead 80-70 in the 10 minute frame of the final quarter.
June Mar Fajardo leads San Miguel with double-double performance with 26 points and 12 rebounds, Reynaldo Balkman also added 23 points and 16 rebounds. Chriss Ross help with 17 points, including 4 of 9 in the three-point area. Alex Cabagnot also added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assist off the bench for the Beermen.
Diamond Simpson led the Aces with 24 points and 21 rebounds, but only JVee Casio finished in double digit among other starting five of the Aces, Casio added 15 points while Simon Enciso and Vic Manuel combined with 39 points off the bench for Alaska Aces.
