A migrant worker from Vietnam was found dead at a garment factory in Chiayi County. The male migrant worker was discovered when a cloth rolling machine at the factory malfunctioned, according to Chiayi police.

Co-workers helping each other pulling the man’s body from the machine and rushed to the nearest hospital, but pronounced dead due to traumatic shock Thursday morning. According to Chiayi police the man suffered severe contusions and crush injuries to his face and body.
The CCTV camera near the machine where the incident happened failed to capture, Chiayi county police investigators said.
Additionally, Chiayi County authorities contacted the Vietnamese labor broker in Taiwan in a bid to help his family to come to the country to process to funeral matters as soon as possible, However the man’s broker in Vietnam has been out of touch due to the corona-virus outbreak.
