Taipei- Taiwan – Taiwan government is donating 300,000 face masks to the Philippines to help them fight the corona virus in which rapidly growing in the Philippines. Currently the Philippines has the highest confirm cases in Southeast Asia with corona virus.

Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines said in a statement Monday evening.
The masks are expected to arrive in Manila on Wednesday via EVA Air, Taiwan’s mask diplomacy campaign was launched on April 1, donating 10 million of masks to European countries, the United States and diplomatic allies.
According to sources neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam and India will also receive 100,000 – 300,000 face masks depending on the countries and urgency of their current situation of corona virus pandemic.
