MANILA, Philippines – Now their series sends to a rubber match game 7 after Beermen defeated TNT Katropa (104-88) to even the series (3-3) on February 18, 2017 at Mall of Asia Arena.
San Miguel Beermen forced a rubber match game 7 against TNT Katropa after convincing win lead by the three time MVP June Mar Fajardo who finished with 23pts along with 21 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Santos and Cabagnot also finished in double digit with 21pts and 19pts respectively.
TNT Katropa missed the service of their Wing Man Troy Rosario, who had a wedding ceremony earlier today in Quezon City who had an average of 6pts and once the leading scorer with 14pts in their game 2 victory.
Despite the absence of Rosario TNT Katropa still managed with 53-45 lead after back-and-forth first half.
TNT Katropa stretch the lead to 59-47 in the opening of the third period until Beermen responded with 21-4 run to establish and regain the lead with 68-63 behind the combo of their bench Garcia and Espinas who had 11pts combined and to hold a 70-69 lead to end the third period.
With Fajardo’s damage inside the paint TNT defense always collapse that leads to an open man. They have once held the biggest lead of the night with 101-82 under the final 2 minutes.
Jason Castro leads the TNT Katropa with 19pts, Roger Pogoy also in double figure with 12pts. Larry Fonacier also finished with 12pts off the bench.
Game 7 of the series will be on Monday February 20, 2017.
