Cebu, Phillippines – A Mega Solar Power Plant will rise in Barangay Talavera Toledo City, Cebu.
The Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) has approved a P4.375 billion loan to partially finance the solar power plant to be constructed in Toledo City, Cebu which can produce 60-megawatt (MW). The project is currently the largest solar plant to be funded by (DBP) and also the largest solar power plant in Cebu.

The Mega Solar Power Plant will rise in the Barangay Talavera, Toledo City in Cebu, the said project will replace more than 157,000 barrels of crude oil. It is also estimated that after the completion of the Mega Power Plant it will reduce 38,000 tons of carbon-dioxide emissions.
