MANILA, Philippines – It’s a clash between two top teams in PBA today between the Global Port and the San Miguel San Miguel where the outcome goes to the favored San Miguel San Miguel with a final score of 106-100 on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
Spider Man Arwind Santos leads the San Miguel with double-double performance, he finished 31pts and 10rebounds, 5 of 9 of them coming in the three point area.

San Miguel, who leads by 3pts with under 3 minutes to play with a score of 98-95, but Spider Man take over the San Miguel after 2 turnovers of the GlobalPort in the next 2 position enable him to make 2 quick baskets to stretch the lead to 102-95.
Only Arwind Santos and Terence Romeo made a field goal in the final 2 minutes of play, Santos scored his 7pts in the final 2 minutes including 2 baskets and 3 of 4 free throws, Fajardo also split his free throws in the dying seconds while Terence Romeo made his last 5pts of the game.
June Mar Fajardo also finished double-double in the game with 19pts and 15 rebounds, Marcio Lassiter also added 22pts and 6rebounds, Brian Heruela filled the absence of Alex Cabagnot who only played in the first quarter and finish with 10pts.
Stanley Pringle leads the GlobalPort with his 21pts, Terence Romeo also added 16pts in the game.

San Miguel take control in the opening minute and lead as much as 9pts but GlobalPort still manage to close out after 12 minutes of play with only 1pt behind. Native Cebuano Brian Heruela had a big impact in this period notching his 10pts.
