Actress Lilia Cuntapay, known as the “Horror Queen” in the Philippine film industry, passed away on Saturday morning (August 20, 2016) at the age of 81. Cuntapay, who suffered from a spinal cord illness, died at her son’s home in Pinili, Ilocos Norte. Earlier this month, Cuntapay asking for help in entertainment industry also those she worked previously.

She always cast in various local horror films. Her first showbiz was playing and extra’s in Entertainment’s Shake, Rattle and Roll 3 in 1991. In this movie she made her mark as “Horror Queen”. In her latest Movie entitled “Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay” she awarded as the Best Actress award in the Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival in 2011.
