Cebu, Philippines – African Swine Fever is increasingly detected in some parts of Cebu from North to South, just 3 weeks ago ASF first detected in the town of Carcar and the Governor Garcia ordered a strict border so that pork meat will not be traveled to prevent some neighboring towns to have this virus.
Just like yesterday March 20, 2023 ASF is now detected in Cebu City, Bogo City, Liloan, Sibonga, Tuburan.

African swine fever “ASF” is a swine disease caused by a family of virus known as a Asfarviridae. ASF can spread rapidly through contact with infected animals, contaminated feed, and by people moving pigs and pig products between farms.
