Over the years Snapchat has increased rapidly as a popular social media app. The question is, is it getting more popular than other social media sites? Snapchat has more than 100 million daily active users, teens tend to be on this app more than ever.
This app includes communication with people, which they could also make group chats. Also, sending photos to anyone on their friends list is also included. Snapchat also includes a daily ‘story’.
The ‘story’ includes the user to put whatever they want for a whole day (24 hours). You may delete anything you want off your story. After that it disappears, but your able to save the photos or videos. Not everyone may know that before 2012 Snapchat was named “Picaboo”, after that it was named Snapchat.
Many teens tend to get Snapchat just to see what their most famous celebrities are up to. Most celebrities have Snapchat, it consists of their daily activities and festivities they are involved in. The world can know so much from just one Snapchat. Will this become the new Facebook in the future? Each week more than thousands of more people create Snapchat.
The popularity will rise within this social media app. Owner of Facebook tried to buy Snapchat for 1 billion dollars, would you accept it? Snapchat owner, Evan Spiegel, rejected the offer which was for the best interest. The real question is, Will Snapchat become more famous in the future.
