MANILA, Philippines — A Makati Regional Trial Court has issued a warrant against Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, after the Department of Justice voiding his amnesty through Proclamation 572 signed by President Rodrigo Duterte.
After more than 2 weeks since the issuance of Proclamation 572, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, staying at the Senate house.
Even though, Senator Trillanes submitted the required documents during hearings and petitions in the revocation of his amnesty, Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 150 Judge Elmo Alameda issued warrant of Arrest against Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV Tuesday afternoon on September 25, 2018.
Trillanes briefly conducted a press conference in a live feed through Facebook after the issuance of a warrant of arrest against him, he opens his statement below:
Natalo po ang Demokrasya ngayong araw na ito…… Nanaig ang kadiliman at kasamaan dito sa ating bayan.
Bail
The Senator also added in a press conference that he will file a bail with an amount of 200,000 pesos and would go with the arresting officers.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque urged Trillanes to respect the court order.
