Taipei-Taiwan – Mayor Ko Wen-je unveil three face mask vending machines in the city to supply surgical mask in fastest way to public. All vending machines currently available in the Xinyi District Health Center, near Taipei 101 and ready to dispense the mask Sunday morning.

Health Minister Chen Shih-Chung was pleased to see the new machines, to accommodate more people who are needed surgical mask. Mayor Ko, said that the long queues of people outside pharmacies look inconvenient for the buyers that is why the Taipei City government decided to assign a tech team to find a solution that enable mask buyers feels comfortable.
Vending machines will start on service April, 12, 2020, Sunday from 8:30am – 6:30pm on weekdays and 8:30am to 12:00pm on public holidays, once the stock does not run out.
Currently the machines will not accept cash, acceptable payment methods are Apple Pay, Google Play, Line Pay, JKOPAY, Easycard and icash.
