I read this post so many times on Facebook and many have different answer. This is the right solution to the problem below see image. I know there are so many solutions to this problem, but I only have two solutions. I hope it will help more people and try to configure why your answer is wrong. More often people answer the problem below is 40. But they can’t provide their solutions it means they’re just guessing the answer, here is my solution.
Since I love math, I made this two solutions.
Using the formula above we will get the following answer
1 + 4(1) = 5
2 + 5(2) = 12
3 + 6(3) = 21
8 + 11 = ?
We will do it Manual pattern
1 + 4 = 5
2 + 5 = 12
3 + 6 = 21
4 + 7 = ??
5 + 8 = ??
6 + 9 = ??
7 + 10= ??
8 + 11=??
