Manila, Philippines – Celebrities and fans around the world wake up with a sad news in social media after OPM legend Rico J. Puno passed away early Tuesday, October 30, 2018 (PH Time). Enrico de Jesus Puno is also known as Rico J. Puno in the industry was born on February 13, 1953.
According to his daughter “Tosca Camille Puno-Ramos” his father was died in a cardiac arrest. Before his death Rico J. Puno underwent an open heart surgery in 2015 and underwent an angioplasty last December 2017.
Rico J. Puno was known for his many songs, he well known after singing this song Kapalaran, Sorry Pwede ba, May Bukas Pa and Macho Gwapito.
Rest In Peace, Rico J. Puno. Your distinctive voice that lent itself to so much of the music of my childhood will not be forgotten.
