University of Southern California – To have free tuition to those families who are in middle class.
On February 20, 2020, University President “Carol L. Folt” announced 2 new policies.
- Families whose annual income of $80,000 or less than can get the USC tuition free.
- Owning a home will not be counted in the calculation used to determine a student’s financial need.
We’re opening the door wider to make a USC education possible for talented students from all walks of life, who has made access and affordability a key priority since her inauguration last fall. “This significant step we are taking today is by no means the end of our affordability journey.

One year of tuition fee cost at USC is $57,256 and that’s before additional costs such as dining, books and transportation, which will total to $77,000 up.
