An epic Gold Medal match between the Argentinian and Great Britain tennis ended Murray to snatch the Gold Medal trophy in Rio 2016 Olympics. A thousand raucous crowd watched 14 breaks of serve by two finalist Andy Murray (Great Britain) and Juan Martin del Potro (Argentina).
Now Andy Murray (Great Britain) became the first tennis player to win two Olympic singles title by beating Argentine (Juan Martin del Potro). His Gold medal trophy comes five weeks after he also wins his second Wimbledon title, beating Milos Raonic, he also wins in 2012 Gold medal trophy in London.
Andy Murray quoted “The final was one of the toughest he had played in and cast doubt on the chances of winning a third gold medal in Tokyo 2020 Olympics”.
Andy Murray, secured a thrilling 7-5 4-6 6-2 7-5 victory to get the Gold medal trophy. On the other-hand Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina claims the Silver Medal. While Nishikori of Japan beats Rafael Nadal for snatching the bronze medal.
