The game is exploded early when the 3 guards of Ginebra (Tenorio, Thompson, Mercado) combined a multiple basket that lead them to outscored the Beermen to 21 big points (33-12) in the first period.
Justine Brownlee continues to score as he first made basket of the Barangay Ginebra on second quarter (12-35). With Lassiter and Fajardo combined a 42pts win in Game 4 they only tallied 18 points combined in their game 5 loss.
Aljon Mariano, Sol Mercado and Scottie Thompson, who scoreless in the game 4 loss bounced back with 57 points combined. But the double-double performance of Scottie Thompson (24 points and 15 rebounds). He also had a triple-double performanced in game 3.
Ginebra will now face Meralco Bolts in a best of 7 series Finals match on Friday, October 07, 2016.
