Ferdinand E. Marcos was born on September 11, 1917 in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte. He is the 10th President of the Philippines. He was serving the Philippines in the period of December 30, 1965 – February 25, 1986. He was declared Martial Law in the Philippines on September 23, 1972.
The imposition of martial law accompanies curfews, the suspension of civil law, civil rights, habeas corpus, and the application or extension of military law or military justice to civilians.

He attended University of the Philippines College of Law. He died on September 28, 1989 at the age of 72 years old because of heart failure, kidney and lung ailments.
