Manny Pacquiao reclaims WBO Welterweight title for third time after his win in a unanimous decision (114-113, 118-109, 118-109), Pacquiao who had this belt first time when he beat Miguel Cotto in 2010. Pacquiao set a record again for the first sitting public official in the Philippines, the first Senator to capture the World title in boxing.
With 10 years older than Vargas, Pacquiao is a more aggressive fighter than Vargas but looks more careful for his thrown jabs. Pacquiao scored early with a knockdown when he finds opening and landed directly to the chin of Vargas in round 2.
With a lot of celebrities attended to witness the fight, Floyd Mayweather Jr is also watching in the ringside seat “Resurgence: Manny Pacquiao vs Jessie Vargas” but when the Camera’s focus on him a loud BOO’S shouted to Mayweather. Could their be a re-match between Mayweather and Pacquiao or Bob Arum will try negotiate to another undefeated boxer “Terrence Crawford”.
In and interview Pacquiao ask “If he could still fight Crawford at 140 pound limit”? he answered “Not a problem”. For now I’m gonna back home to Philippines and back to work in the senate.
