Manuel L. Quezon was born on August 19, 1878 in Baler, Aurora, Philippines. He is the second President of the Philippines and the first President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines. He was serving the Philippines in the period of 1935 – 1944.

Mauel l. Quezon was a Spanish Filipino, He studied Bachelor of Arts in Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Bachelor of Laws in University of Santo Tomas (began in 1894, resumed 1902-1903). He is also known as the “Father of the National Language.”
He died on August 1, 1944 at the age of 65 in Saranac Lake, New York, United States because of Tuberculosis.
