If game 3 is decided by only 1 point (97-96), game 4 is the biggest deficit win lead in the series with 101-72.
It started early in the opening period when Lassiter and Cabagnot hit a pair of triples. Justin Brownlee, who had a hot handed as he score 11 points of the entire team (17-11) Barangay Ginebra not until Marcelo made a basket with 4 minutes remaining (17-13). Explosion of the San Miguel made them to win the first quarter (30-22).
San Miguel take control the second period as they went 18-0 run including 11points of Lassiter. Barangay Ginebra could not convert any basket as they went scoreless for 7:59 minutes until Tenorio hit a triple on 4:01 minutes left in the second quarter. With the poor shooting of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel capitalized a 26 point lead to end the period (29-55). In addition San Miguel hit 43.4% (10-23) in three point line for two quarter.

San Miguel had the biggest lead with 33 points (87-54) early in the final period, Ginebra also had 13-2 run half-way on the final period (67-89) with 6 minutes to play but that was the closest score they ever had since in second period. Leo Austria inserted their entire bench as they capitalized a big lead and sure win situation.
Thompson, who had his first triple-double in game 3 went scoreless, only 2 players of the Barangay Ginebra got a double digit production (Brownlee 28, Tenorio 17). Aguilar, who manages 22 points and a game winner in game 3 contributed only 1 point.
Lassiter who had 15 points in game 3 erupted in game 4 with 25 points 7 of 9 of them in the three point line area. June Mar Fajardo who limited his score because of foul trouble in Game 3 bounced back with 17 points and 16 rebounds.
Game 5 will be played on October 04, 2016 at 07:00pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
